At Nanaimo’s Enchanted Moments Early Childhood Centre, we provide a safe and nurturing environment where your child can play, learn and grow. Our school is fully licensed and our staff received at least an ECE certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education. We offer preschool for children ages 2.5 – 4 and operate a before and after school care program for ages 5 – 11. In our care, your child will be given the opportunity to grow emotionally, socially, intellectually and physically at his/her level and speed while becoming thinkers, problem-solvers and risk-takers. We also accept children with special needs and we work with the Child Development Centre’s Support Program.
Safe and Friendly Environment
Since my daughter started at the preschool I have seen her bloom and develop under the care of Sally and her colleagues. Enchanted Moments has provided her with a safe and friendly environment in which to learn new skills, make lots of new friends and gain confidence in being away from home. The preschool has lots of unique features, like the bunnies and lizards, which the children get to learn about. All the kids love the fabulous outdoor space. It is so much fun with the little wooden houses, huge sandpit, areas to play and run, and nature to explore. No wonder we have to drag the kids away! My daughter loves attending “Miss Sally's” school and it is sad she will have to go to a different “big” school in September.

Kindergarten Readiness
I am mother of boy/girl twins. As with most girls, my daughter was definitely ready for preschool. My son on the other hand was very apprehensive about the whole process. Sally offers a very loving, nurturing, safe environment and very quickly my son was able to feel very comfortable. The preschool offers learning centers which change from time to time allowing the kids to be exposed to a variety of interests. I love that they are able to enjoy outdoor play. My kinds have developed very good social skills and confidence in preparing them for kindergarten. I would have no doubt in recommending Enchanted Moments to any of my friends or family for their children.

Looking for just the right preschool can be overwhelming. I was impressed when I saw the Enchanted Moments yard. I knew my son would like the hand built play houses, but I knew he would LOVE the huge sandbox! When I met Sally I could sense her warmth and gentleness. More than Prepared Our Children for Kindergarten
At Enchanted Moments Preschool, Sally and her wonderful staff have created a nurturing and enriched learning environment for both of our children. With four years between our daughter and son, we never saw the school's philosophy change. Our children developed confidence and social skills, learned to interact with others and play cooperatively with their class mates, all while acquiring a love for learning. Lasting Memories and Friendships
Over the past six years, Enchanted Moments has provided a nurturing, caring, and safe environment for our three very energetic young girls. Through play and experiencing new adventures, they have developed their social skills and confidence and made lasting memories and friendships. The amazing staff fosters creativity, encourages individual expression and empathy while developing early learning skills in preparation for kindergarten. Our family is so fortunate to have had the staff at Enchanted Moments Preschool involved in the growth, learning and development of our children.
